Blog post, March 7, 2014 – Crunchfish promotes its Touchless A3D™ software, allowing users to control functions in their device by gestures.

 

The demo shows a touchless copy & paste operation of an image between an Android device and a printer using the Touchless A3D™ software to understand the user’s hand motions. The software requires no hardware changes since it uses a video stream from the embedded camera in the device. By making a few intuitive hand movements, Crunchfish demonstrates the smoothness of taking a photo, copying it and simply pasting it to applications and printers, seamlessly.

The Swedish Pavilion was a perfect place for inspiration, with its 20 companies demonstrating the latest development within mobile technology and services.

With its attention grabbing demos Crunchfish demonstrated the latest developments within touchless interaction by gestures. Together with Paul Cronholm, CTO and Founder of Crunchfish, Anna-Karin Hatt experienced the possibilities of touchless technology and the conveniences it can bring. She also got the opportunity to capture and print her very own selfie, touchless of course!
